Stars and Angels

This beautiful setting for the very young band will provide an unexpected display of sensitivity during the first holiday concert. Matt Conaway seamlessly weaves the holiday carol “Angels We Have Heard On High” with the familiar children’s song “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to create a unique, delicate lullaby. Though only requiring the first six notes taught in most beginning band methods, this setting provides great opportunities to teach musicianship and phrasing to more experienced groups.
