Christopher T. Greco (b. 1992) began his musical career in elementary school by joining the band and playing alto saxophone. He continued through middle and high school and was selected to play in numerous honor ensembles throughout the county and state. Mr. Greco started arranging in high school, but it was a short-lived experience. After high school, he pursued his degree in Music Education at the University of South Florida. It wasn’t until his third year at the University that he returned to writing and arranging for smaller ensembles. Upon finishing his degree in 2014, he started off as a long-term sub in Pasco County Schools until he landed his first job as a high school director at River Ridge in his hometown. During that time, his groups received numerous high marks and invitations to perform in and out of the state of Florida. While teaching, Mr. Greco continued to write arrangements and compositions for local and university bands.

When the COVID pandemic hit, Mr. Greco returned to school and received his Masters degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. Upon receiving his degree in 2023, he pursued teaching at the middle school level where he is now the music director at Bayonet Point Middle School.

Over the last decade Mr. Greco has written numerous arrangements and compositions for his friends and colleagues around the US in the forms of marching shows, stand tunes, jazz ensembles, concert works, and commissions. He is very excited to share his works and ideas with the C. L. Barnhouse Company and with the world.
