Cold Pizza

Who doesn’t like “Cold Pizza”? This easy, bluesy swing chart provides an excellent introduction to swing style. The minor mode ostinato riff on which the tune is built adds a cool jazzy feel and makes this chart sound unique for this level. The repeated two-measure solo section (suggested solo riffs included) will gently encourage your aspiring improvisers. As with all Barnhouse “Jazz Starters”, parts for non-traditional jazz instruments are included. Add a little “cool” and “spice” to your jazz band’s sound with “Cold Pizza.”
