Bach at the peak of his genius! Arguably the greatest composer of the Baroque period, many Bach works are familiar upon hearing by all, including the famous second movement of his third orchestral suite, best known as the “Celebrated Air.” Everybody gets to play the famous melody along the way. Great chance to work on the concepts of blend/balance, dynamics, and arching musical phrases. Once this work is well rehearsed, your performers will get “lost” in its emotional inner beauty.
