The Cookie Thief

Whodunit? Composed to celebrate a band program’s successful cookie dough fundraiser, “The Cookie Thief” uses cinematic driving rhythms to depict an energetic chase scene, hot in pursuit of the baked goods bandit. Written in ¾ time, the melody provides a great opportunity for students to practice dotted quarter note rhythms, and the fun and sneaky percussion parts provide lots of caper color. “The Cookie Thief” will be your young band’s favorite piece to play. Felony fun!
