“On The High Seas” March is a lively concert band work inspired by the spirit of the sea. Blending traditional march elements with melodies inspired by the folk song “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean,” this Elizabeth Studer work evokes images of ocean voyages and maritime adventure while developing beginning band skills, too! Using just the first six notes learned in band, “On The High Seas” is a perfect opener or closer for that first band concert!
