Heartland Legacy

This original Ed Huckeby work has all the spirit and appeal of a traditional overture, yet fits the bill as a fresh and innovative addition to the Barnhouse Command Series. Written for limited instrumentation, “Heartland Legacy” combines unique harmonic and melodic elements with exciting rhythmic syncopation, giving the piece a spirited and energetic style. A “must play” for younger ensembles, or more mature groups with limited instrumentation.
