Davide Pedrazzini

Davide A. Pedrazzini (b. 1981, Lodi, Italy) is an Italian composer and conductor specializing in band repertoire. Winner of several national and international composition contests, in 2023 he received both the Grand Prize and an additional First Prize at the Grand Mesa Young Band Composition Contest (Colorado). Several of his works for band and orchestra have been selected as Editors’ Choice by J.W. Pepper and included in major educational references such as the UIL Prescribed Music List (Texas) and the Bandworld Magazine Top 100.

He graduated in Composition and Arranging for Band and studied conducting with José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana, Lorenzo Della Fonte, and Angelo Bolciaghi. His music is published by leading international publishers, and has been performed at major events such as The Midwest Clinic.

He has taught Elements of Composition for Music Education at the Conservatory of Livorno and currently teaches Arranging, Composition and Conducting for Band at the Conservatory of Udine.
