Cory J. McBride

Cory J. McBride attends the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, majoring in music education and music composition. Moonscape was written just prior to his freshman year. Previous to college, Cory has participated in Iowa All-State groups, both for concert and jazz percussion, as well as the BOA’s Young Composer Mentor Project where he worked with Mark Camphouse and Frank Ticheli. Cory also teaches private percussion lessons, drumline, and enjoys performing in many various musical groups.
