Christine Richardson is a retired music educator. She taught middle school band, orchestra, choir and elementary music for 37 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Southern California. She has composed concert band music, symphonic orchestra music, and small ensemble music. Christine studied music composition with Lynn Blake John, Robert Barrett, and Mathew Fuerst. Currently, Christine plays horn for both the Empire Wind Ensemble and the Redlands Community Orchestra. She enjoys writing programmatic music, describing some of her favorite scenic places she sees when traveling to places like the Grand Canyon, Kenya, and Norway. In her spare time, Ms. Richardson is a docent for the Wildlands Conservancy at Oak Glen. Christine’s website is www.RichardsonComposer.com.
