Alex Vertz

Alex Vertz (b. 2003) is a composer, music producer, vocalist, trumpet player, and the Editorial and Production Manager at C.L. Barnhouse Co. in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from William Penn University, where he performed in both the university concert band and choir. During his time there, Alex began composing and arranging works for his peers and the university ensembles, while deeply studying vocal performance.

In addition to his editorial and creative work, Alex is an experienced multi-instrumental educator, having spent several years teaching private and group lessons in piano, voice, guitar, woodwinds, brass, and music theory. He is also involved in the thriving local creative arts scene in Oskaloosa, where he puts his talents in composition and performance to use.
