“The Klaxon” is a great American “old line” march, and this arrangement for the Rising Band series makes it accessible to younger players. After a brief intro, the horns and low brass take over with the melody. This is an excellent teaching tool not only for march style, but for developing dynamic range. A perfect concert opener or closer, “The Klaxon” will have toes tapping in the audience. March on!
