Kick Back

Here’s the perfect rock tune for your very young jazz band! “Kick Back” by Paul Clark is a great programming choice, and it’s fun and easy-to-prepare. All sections get their chance to play the melody, and the open solo section for any instrument only has two chords. Minimal rehearsal time with great results will allow you to “kick back” and enjoy your next concert along with the audience. Barnhouse “Jazz Starters” publications also includes parts for non-traditional jazz instruments. It’s a win-win for everyone!
