William Boartfield

Will Boartfield (b.1973) is an instrumental music educator and composer from Alabama. He began teaching in 1997 and has been a music educator at all levels in Alabama and Georgia. He earned his B.M.E. and M.M.E. from Troy (State) University and is proud to have been a student of legendary bandmaster, Dr. John M. Long. He studied arranging and orchestration with Mr. Ralph Ford and Mr. Robert W. Smith.

The bands and performance ensembles his direction have consistently made superior ratings at music festivals. Will and his wife Jen currently reside in Prattville, Alabama. They are active in their church and enjoy being the parents of their dogs and cats.
